Autoworld Zambia’s journey began in 1992, when Noble Findlay and his
family laid the foundation for what would become one of the country’s most
trusted automotive brands. From its early days as a single outlet, Autoworld
has grown into a nationwide network of 13 branches, serving thousands of
customers across Lusaka, Kitwe, Ndola, and beyond.
Over the past three decades, Autoworld has built a reputation not only as a
proud stockist of the best international brands, but also as a one stop
destination for automotive, marine, and lifestyle solutions. From batteries,
tyres to garage equipment, boats, and even outdoor camping utilities, each
branch is equipped with modern fitment centres offering balancing,
alignment, and servicing — ensuring that every customer leaves with
confidence on the road.
But Autoworld’s story is about more than commerce. It’s about community,
adventure, and responsibility. One of the most exciting chapters in our
journey is our participation in the Elephant Charge, Zambia’s legendary
off-road motorsport and conservation challenge. Since its inception in 2008,
the Elephant Charge has raised over $1.95 million (around ZMW 40 million)
for conservation projects across the country. These funds support initiatives
that protect elephants, forests, and ecosystems, while also investing in
environmental education for future generations.
Autoworld Zambia:
Driving Strength, Spirit, and Sustainability
For Autoworld, the Elephant Charge is more than a race. It’s a proving
ground where endurance meets innovation, and where our products are
tested against Zambia’s toughest terrain — escarpments, riverbeds, and
bush tracks. It’s also a chance to stand shoulder to shoulder with
organizations dedicated to safeguarding Zambia’s natural heritage. Our
involvement reflects who we are: a brand that thrives on challenge,
embraces community, and invests in sustainability.
A Culture of Celebration:
Autoworld’s internal culture is equally defined by its love of community
engagement. The company regularly participates in Zambia’s parades and
marches, proudly showcasing its brand while celebrating national pride and
unity. These events highlight Autoworld’s commitment to being more than a
retailer — they are a vibrant part of Zambia’s cultural fabric, connecting with
people in festive, meaningful ways.
Looking Ahead:
Today, Autoworld continues to expand its reach and strengthen its
partnerships. With over 30 years of experience, a loyal customer base, and a
nationwide footprint, we remain committed to powering Zambia’s journeys
— whether it’s keeping fleets safe, supporting conservation, or celebrating
alongside communities.
Because at Autoworld, it’s never just about aftermarket parts. It’s about the
road we share, the challenges we overcome, and the future we build
together.
