Client Profile: Our client, a restaurant is looking to fill the position of Head chef.
• Over-seeing the kitchen operations
• Responsible for food coming out of the kitchen from preparation to execution
• Oversee the diverse aspects of the restaurant
• Manage and work closely with other cooks and kitchen staff
• Creation of Menu items
• Determine food inventory needs
• Develop recipes and ensure classic presentation
• Forecasting of estimation of kitchen needs
• Ensuring the restaurant meets regulations including sanitary and safety guidelines
• Production of consistent and quality food
• Work towards the continued efficiency of the kitchen
Hand eye coordination
Diverse knowledge in Fine dining
Catering or Culinary Qualification
3-5 years experience in the same position and similar fine dining environments.
